Johnny Russell Reed was born December 8, 1927 at Black Mountain the son of Giles Gilbert and Eva Lee (Shoemaker) Reed and passed away on March 15, 2014 at his residence in Fredericktown at the age of 86 years.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joan Reed, Four (4) sisters Stella LaPlant, Peggy Justice, Betty Moore & Loretta Graham. Four (4) brothers Charles Reed, Scott Reed, Edgar Reed & Willis Reed.

Johnny is survived by One (1) sister-in-law Wilma Reed, several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Johnny was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed turkey hunting and fishing.
