Jose (Joe) Ovette Rodriguez was born on June 16, 1951 at San Juan, Puerto Rico the son of Elba Luz Hurtado-Ramos and Eliseo Carlderon Rodriguez and passed away on August 20, 2015 at Perryville, Missouri at the age of 64 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Manuel Lugo-Cancel, Crispin Hurtado-Gerena, Aquilina Calderson, and Tio Felo Rodriguez. He is survived by three sons Joseph Saulo Rodriguez and wife Christine Caruso-Rodriguez of Queens, New York, Joshua Samuel Rodriguez and wife Angela Marie Parham-Rodriguez of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jacob Achim Rodriguez and fiance Amanda Ann Allen of Fredericktown, one daughter Colette Amanda Pena-Rodriguez and husband Eduardo Pena of Colorado Springs, Colorado, two daughter-in-laws Valerie Nicoles-Rodriguez of West Pasco, Washington, and Diana Marie Wilson of Sparta, Illinois, girlfriend Marilyn Kline, three sisters Merni Rosado Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, Debii Rosado Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, and Lisette Marie Ramos-George of Atlanta, Georgia, and fifteen grandchildren. Joe was of the Protestant faith and retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, running marathons, and martial arts.
