Judy Ann Tripp was born on July 1, 1952 at Bonne Terre, Missouri, the daughter of Hilton Tripp and Ruby (Klob) Tripp Halpin and passed away on November 27, 2013 at her residence in Fredericktown at the age of 61 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children DeVonna and Jessie S. Montgomery in 1974, two brothers Jimmy Tripp and Cary Tripp, and one nephew Alex Brent. She was united in marriage to Jessie Montgomery and Tom Whitney. In 1984 Tom Shafer and Judy became friends and assisted each other as mutual care givers for their children, remaining as companions until her death. She is survived by her companion Tom Shafer; one son Joshua Shafer of Fredericktown; one step-son Tom Shafer Jr. of Fredericktown; three step-daughters Michelle Aboisda of Utah, Marie Thompson of Desoto, Missouri, and Annette Burton of Idaho; one brother Jackie Tripp of Farmington; three sisters Cathy Walsh of Desloge, Missouri, Rebecca Brent of Fredericktown, and Tracy Edmond of Fredricktown; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
