Kathryn Benham was born on August 15, 1951 at Paoli, Indiana the daughter of Felix Alonzo and Lillie Mae (Bennett) Hammond and passed away at Desloge, Missouri on January 30, 2013 at the age of 61 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband John Hinkle Sr., one sister Nancy Braswell, one brother Bob Hammond, and in-laws Rev. Paul and Mae Benham. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Benham whom she was united in marriage to on November 7, 1998 at Fredericktown, two sons James (Jennifer) Thacker of Ironton, Missouri and John Hinkle Jr. of Park Hills, Missouri, two step-sons Larry Benham and Mike Benham, one brother Jim Hammond of Pensacola, Florida, and one niece Kay Braswell of Marquand, Missouri. Kathryn was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed knitting, reading, going to church, and being with her family.
