Katie Leah Sikes was born on March 4, 1912 at Fredericktown the daughter of Albert and Elva (Welch) Thomas and passed away on February 7, 2018 at Fredericktown at the age of 105 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ira W. Sikes whom she was united in marriage to on March 1, 1931 at Glover, Missouri, three (3) brothers Lester Thomas, Gifford Thomas, and Woodrow Thomas, one (1) sister Doris Thomas, twin infant sons Albert Dale and Alfred Edward Sikes, one (1) grandson Brian Noyes, and one (1) son-in-law Charles Noyes.

She is survived by three sons Vernon (Thelma) Sikes, Everett (Geraldine) Sikes, and Lindell (Gloria) Sikes, daughters Alma Noyes and Pearl (Charles) Royer, twelve (12) grandchildren, twenty-two (22) great grandchildren, and nine (9) great great grandchildren. She was a member of the Little Vine Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, and spending time with family and friends.
