Kenneth Joe Greider was born December 8, 1927 at St. Elmo, Illinois, the son of Murvel & Margaret Greider and passed away on April 26, 2010 at Ozark Manor in Fredericktown at the age of 82 years.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, sister Charlotte Briggs, his wife Dorothy Mae (Cheek) Greider whom he married on December 25, 1951 at Pocahontas, Arkansas.
Surviving Joe are Tom & Linda Tawfall, whom he loved as his children, Jacob & Amanda Tawfall, whom he loved as grandchildren, his niece Carolyn Scheuller and her children.
Joe was of the Christian Faith.
Joe enjoyed fishing, being a guard at Slime Pond, and enjoyed time with family and friends.
Joe was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and recieved the Purple Heart.  He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Disabled American Veterans.
