Kevin Brent Ammon of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Fredericktown, passed away on March 17, 2014 at the age of 55 years. He was born on October 17, 1958 in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter Kali Ammon and grandparents Fred and Rosie Ammon and Charles and Myrtle Umfleet. He is survived by his parents Raymond and Wilma (Umfleet) Ammon of Fredericktown; his sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Steve Ferguson of Fredericktown; two sons Nathan (Katie) Ammon of Cape Girardeau and Jordan Ammon of Daytona Beach, Florida; a daughter Rikki Ammon of Cape Girardeau; one niece Casey (Keith) Burch of Farmington; great-uncle to Ty and Brody Burch; and a very proud grandpa to Tatum Ammon. He attended the House of Hope Church in Cape Girardeau. Kevin was proud to be a member of the Fredericktown High School class of 1977 and enjoyed competing at BBQ cook-offs, wine making, and playing softball.
