Larry Joe "Doc" Boyer Sr. was born October 7, 1941 at Deventer, Missouri the son of George T. and Audrey (Weems) Boyer and passed away on April 2, 2018 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 76 years.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jerry Boyer and Curtis Boyer, sister Bonnie Lawson.

Larry married Virginia Sue (Carlyle) Boyer on October 16, 1959 at East Prairie, Missouri, who survives.

Also surviving is one son Larry J. (Allison) "Bub" Boyer of Marquand, Missouri, two (2) daughters Robin (Donnie) Clayton of Paragould, Arkansas and Kim (Ray) Allgier of Fredericktown. Two (2) brothers Dennis Boyer of East Prairie, Missouri and David Boyer of Paducah, Kentucky, two (2) sisters Gloria Atherly of Phoenix, Arizona and Gayla Loomis of East Prairie, Missouri. Seven (7) grandchildren and Nine (9) great grandchildren.
