Larry "Boe" Dean Brotherton was born November 21, 1942 at Marquand, Missouri the son of Vernon Wesley and Pearline (Crites) Brotherton, and passed away on November 24, 2023 at Marquand at the age of 81 years.

Boe was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Bill Brotherton, James Brotherton, Vernon Brotherton and Patsy Cureton. Great Grandchildren Austin Grogan, Madeline Pickert and Allie Rae Pickert.

Boe is survived by his wife Mary Jane (Taylor) Brotherton who he married on September 3, 1961 in Marquand. Children, Sheldon "Pety"( Pam) Brotherton of Park Hills, Tina (Danny) Grogan of Patton, Vicki ( Blaine) Lawson of Fredericktown, David (Angie) Brotherton of Marquand. Grandchildren Kevin Hayman, Timmy Cook, Derek (Leah) Hayman, Anna Dobyns, Chris (Libby) Wood, Jodi (Billy) Ely, Josh Grogan, Dusty Brotherton, Dajah Brotherton, Travis Brotherton. Great Grandchildren Dylan Hayman, Brylie Grogan, Koby Hayman, Shane (Kayla) Hayman, Jordan Smith, Easton Wood, Lucas Hayman, Maggie Wood, Abbi Hanks, Jade Hayman, Ayden Hanks, Justin Hayman, Bryce Hanks, Dustin Brotherton, Aubree Brotherton, Colton Sarakas, Cora Ely, Caleb Pickert, Caleb Grogan Barron Cook. Siblings Jerry (Beverly) Brotherton, Jeanie (Vito) Viviano, Janet (Craig) Shearrer, Brenda (Herbert) Sullivan and Helen Peeler.

Boe retired from Black River Electric Coop after 35 years as a Lineman. He attended Calvary Church

Boe enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting. Boe also enjoyed hanging with his friends at the coffee round table and Monday morning breakfast
