Larry Lee Whitener was born on March 22, 1938, at Marquand, Missouri, the son of Floyd and Dorothy Whitener, and passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 87 years.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) brother and sister-in-law Gary (Nancy) Whitener, and two (2) grandchildren, Garrett Mann, and Carson Mann.

Larry is survived by his wife Sandra F. Whitener, who he married on September 26, 1959, at Marquand Baptist Church, one (1) son, Rodney (Kathy) Whitener, one (1) daughter, Andrea Whitener, one (1) sister, Susan (Doug) Settle, five (5) grandchildren, Travis Whitener, Kayla (Chris) Thompson, Joey (Terry) Pierce, Katalina (Drake) Paucak, Valentino Paucak, and three (3) great-grandchildren, Addyson Reed, Paislee Thompson, and Demi Pierce.

Larry was a United States Army Veteran, he was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church in Bridgeton, Missouri, and he enjoyed golf, yard work, woodworking, the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with his family.
