Laura M. Bollinger was born December 12, 1921 at Bessville, Missouri, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Nellie Alma (Crook) Dowd, and passed away June 11, 2011 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 89 years.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard B. Bollinger, sisters Mildred H. Stroup, Naomi Glenn, Lillian Francis, E. Lois Griffon, brothers Hersel (Spud) Dowd, Willard (Bill) Dowd, Dale Jack Dowd, and Jerry Dowd.
Laura is survived by her daughters Lynnette (Darrell) Miller of Arnold, Carla (Michael) Mickes of Marco Island Florida, Gary D. (Nancy) Bollinger of St. Louis, Terry (Carol) Bollinger of Ashburn, Virginia.
Sisters Wilma Brewington of Fredericktown, Juanita Parsons of Marble Hill, Joyce Long of Marble Hill, as well as seven (7) grandchildren, and two (2) great-grandchildren.
Laura was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown.
She was a wonderful cook, who always made sure her neighbors had cookies, and delicious homemade bread, she enjoyed working in her yard, watching the cardinals, and made sure everyone had mints.
VISITATION: from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday June 13, 2011 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.
SERVICES: 11:00 A.M. at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating.
