On August 12, 2017 Laura Fontaine Campbell (nee Gudger) mother of Jacqueline Harris and grandmother of Marcus Harris and Holly Wilson passed. She was also great grandmother to Hannah and Hamilton Harris and Stella and Clark Wilson.
She was born in Smithville, Texas on April 25, 1924 and lived in St. Louis before retiring to Fredericktown where she was raised. During her working Career she was employed by Stix, Baer and Fuller, Liberty Mutual and The U.S. Center for Army Records. Laura was a member of the Fredericktiown Garden Club, Eastern Star. . She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing. She was preceded death by her husband John Wesley Campbell, her mother Laura Gudger, her father Harry Gudger and her brother Bill Gudger.
