Letha Leanna Huffman went to see Jesus On May 13,
2014. She was born June 1, 1938, a daughter of Charley
and Zella (Spain) Hinkle. She was preceded in death by
her parents and her husband H.C. (Henry Calvin)
Huffman and one sister Helen Huffman Thompson, and
one dear niece Regina "Sissy" Huffman Randolph.
She is survived by one son Randall (Doris) Huffman; four
daughters Vera (Ron) Hayman, Anita (James) Ward,
Lovina (Bill) Gipson, and Camille (David) Reed; five
grandchildren Travis (Kristen) Huffman, Amanda (Keith)
Sohn, Jessica (Lee) Brewington, Calvin (Denise) Gipson,
and Logan James Ward; six great grandchildren Millie and
Tess Huffman; Link, Isla, and Lovi Leanna Brewington;
and Curtis Gipson. Also surviving is one brother Bob
(Jane) Hinkle of Fredericktown Missouri; sisters Joyce
(Tommy) Knodell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Phyllis
(Glennon) Whitener of St. James, Missouri, and Janice
{Ron} Bollinger of Ozark, Missouri; two aunts Anna Jane
Spain and Lucille Hinkle; and numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends. Mrs. Huffman was a faithful
member of Twelve Mile Baptist Church, and enjoyed
spending time with her family, singing Southern Gospel
music, praising the Lord through song and playing the
guitar. She enjoyed caring for the elderly, visiting nursing
homes, singing at Ozark Manor, and attending her Bible
Study and prayer group.
She was a wonderful Christian influence on many who
knew and loved her.
