Leila Doris Phillips was born December 28, 1932 at Fredericktown, Missouri the daughter of Forrest & Goldie (Francis) Smith, and passed away on April 15, 2019 at Fredericktown at the age of 86 years.

Leila was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odell Phillips and grandson Joshua Phillip Jarrett.

Leila is survived by children Thomas Lynn (Terri Beth) Ward, Larry Durell (Sheri Doreen) Phillips, Gary Dell (Geralyn Ann) Phillips, Ricky Wayne (Amy Wynne) Phillips, Brenda Kay (Brady Allen) Tinnin. One (1) brother Bud (Lisa) Smith and One (1) sister Betty Banes Lewis. Grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Leila  retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 22 years, then becoming a secretary of a local cable company.

She attended Meadow Heights Church. She enjoyed travel, reading, knitting, crocheting and family.
