Lelah Ruth (Tripp) Wengler was born on November 23, 1920 at Fredericktown the daughter of Elijah Bart Tripp and Josephine (Polite) McCarver and passed away on March 5, 2025 at Ozark Manor Assisted Living in Fredericktown at the age of 104 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clyde Frederick Wengler whom she was united in marriage to on January 20, 1940 at Fredericktown; brothers David Tripp and Paul Leonard Tripp; sisters Myrtle Mae Carlson and Mary Louise Cureton; step brother Lindell Wayne Tripp; half sisters Dorothy and Nancy Tripp; half brother Earl Dean Tripp and James Eugene Tripp, granddaughter Melissa Jean Wengler; and step mother Gladys (Sitzes) Tripp.

She is survived by two sons Jackie Lee (Marilyn) Wengler of Fredericktown and Gerald Wayne (Susan) Wengler of Silex, Missouri; one daughter Brenda Joyce Leirer of Fredericktown; two half brothers Edwin Lee Tripp of Fredericktown, Mo., half sister Bonnie, seven (7) grandchildren, fifteen (15) great grandchildren, and six (6) great great grandchildren.

Lelah was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed quilting, working puzzles, and decorating.
