Lester Franklin Myers was born November 1, 1919 at Marquand, the son of Rolen Richard and Rosa Luvesta (Hansen) Myers and passed away on April 16, 2009 at Southbrook Nursing Center in Farmington at the age of 89 years.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents, three (3) brothers Raymond, Chester, Harold. Three (3) sisters Leona Gibbs, Mable Crites, and Maxine Tripp.
Lester is survived by one (1) sister Daisy Blandford of Louisville, Kentucky as well as several nieces and nephews as well as a large host friends.
Lester was a member of Marquand Baptist Church, and he enjoyed his farm, animals, and nature.
Lester was a veteran of the United States Army.

Visitation Saturday April 18, 2009 after 5:00 P.M. at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.
Services will be held Sunday April 19, 2009 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert Graham officiating.
