Lester Gerald Whitener was born November 9, 1920 at Marquand, Missouri the son of Lester Franklin and Norma Ellen (Whitener) Whitener and passed away on December 12, 2009 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 89 years.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, One (1) sister Mildred Whitener, Three (3) brothers Milford Whitener, Raymond Whitener and Floyd Whitener.
Gerald married Mable (Thomas) on October 7, 1967 at Marquand United Methodist Church at Marquand, Missouri.
Gerald is survived by his wife Mable Whitener. Two (2) brothers Joy E. Whitener of Columbia, Missouri and Don H. Whitener of Kirkwood, Missouri.
Gerald was of the United Methodist Faith. He enjoyed farming, Methodist Church and music.
