Lewis A. Schanda was born May 9, 1928, at Cascade, MO, the son of August and Alma Schanda, and passed away on November 15, 2011 at the Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown.
Lewis is proceded in death by his parents, wife Faye Hinkle, whom he married on November 10, 1950, and two (2) brothers Lawrence Schanda, and Roy Schanda.
Lewis is survived by his two (2) children Willie Schanda, and Melba Schanda, four (4) grandsons, Porcius Schanda, Billy Schanda, Silver Schanda, Ace Schanda, four (4) great-grand children Annie, Braydon, Porcius, and Cassius Schanda.
Lewis was retired from A&P in St. Louis, and was a member of Buckhorn General Baptist Church, he enjoyed his family, grandsons, great-grandchildren, going to church, and having friends around.
