Lillian Evelyn (Proffer Shannon) Carver of Farmington, Missouri entered into rest on Friday, October 24, 2010 at the age of 89 years. She was born on February 27, 1921, the second child of the late Rev. William Clyde Proffer and the late Stella Maude Rush Proffer in Lutesville, Missouri. Preceded in death by 3 sisters, Mildred & Violet Proffer, & Billie Looney,and 1 brother Clarence Udell Proffer. Lillian is survived by husband, Kenneth Carver, and 1 sister Helen Chandler.
Lillian married Leeman Shannon in June 1938 at the home of his parents, the late Rev. Emmett & Mrs. Rena Shannon.. Beloved husband & father, Lee & beloved children, Larry Lee, Mark Lynn and infant daughter Brenda Joyce, preceded her in death. Lillian is survived by 1 son Thomas Shannon & wife MaDonna, 2 daughters, Mrs. Sandra Guimond & husband Robert, & Mrs. Anna Miller & husband Leon, and one daughter-in-law Carlene Shannon. Also 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as other dear relatives.
