Lillian Eleanor Ward was born February 11, 1915 at Fredericktown, the daughter of Charles Henry Stanley Lamb and Ricka Albertina (Ottander). And passed away on December 28, 2008 at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown at the age of 93 years.
Lilian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Melbourne Ward whom she married on June 24, 1937 at Fredericktown. Three (3) brothers Henry, Alfred, and Carl Lamb. And two (2) sisters Irene Weatherford, and Hilda Moyer.
Lillian is survived by one (1) son Ronald Lee (Janet) Ward and one (1) daughter Carolyn Theresa (Perry) Kegley. Four(4) grandchildren Kathy (Chuck) Moore, Julie (Dereck) Buford, Rhonda (David) White, and Janell (Travis) Rehkop. Four(4) great-grandchildren Dawson and Carson Buford, and Josiah and Nathanael White.
She was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church, the Young Mothers Club, and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxilary. She enjoyed Gardening, Cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday December 30, 2008 at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday December 31, 2008 at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Lasley and Rev. Robert Graham officiating.
Interment in the Christian Cemetery.
