Obituary

Lindell L. Cruse was born on June 24, 1927 at Silverpoint, Missouri the son of Mertic Marshall and Myrtle (McDowell) Cruse and passed away on February 19, 2015 at the Presbyterian Manor in Farmington at the age of 87 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, five infant brothers, brother William Cruse, and one sister Hilda Tucker. He is survived by his wife Addlee (Kauffman) Cruse whom he was united in marriage to on July 4, 1948 at the Presbyterian Church in Fredericktown, one son Larry (Colleen) Cruse of Farmington, one brother Glennon Cruse of St. Louis, one sister Virginia Myers of Fredericktown, grandchildren Erin (Jared) Embry, and Erika Cruse, and great grandchildren Macy, Jack, and Cruz Embry. Lindell was a member of the Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, gardening, and playing cards. He served in the United States Marine Corp, served as an Alderman for the City of Fredericktown for 36 years, served as the President of the UFCW Union, was a long time member of the Perryville American Legion and the Farmington Elks Lodge #1765, and coached Little League Baseball.
