Lloyd Edward Emmett was born April 15, 1932 at Marquand, Missouri the son of Joseph A. and Lilly E. (Garner) Emmett and passed away on September 7, 2021 at St. Louis at the age of 89 years.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Mildred Taylor, Margaret Riley, Mary "Betty" Matthews, Patricia Sheppard, Irma Bosco, Louise Ward and brother Robert Emmett.

Lloyd is survived by One (1) son Joseph E. Emmett of Fredericktown, Two (2) daughters Judith E. Dodenhoff of Fredericktown and Jennifer E. Emmett of Cape Girardeau. Four (4) grandchildren and Three (3) great grandchildren.

Lloyd was of the Christian Faith and attended Church of the Many Blessings. Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, target practice, guitar, music, playing music for nursing homes  and church.
