Lois Jean King was born on June 18, 1935 at Hot Springs, Arkansas the daughter of Killes Lee and Grace Mae (Yancey) Coomer and passed away on October 8, 2014 at the Claru DeVille Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 79 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Flenoia Coomer, Leo Coomer, Julius Coomer, and Lonnie Coomer, and two sisters Myrtle Jackson and Sadie Shirley. She is survived by her husband James R. King whom she was united in marriage to on December 31, 1951 at Louisville, Kentucky, two daughters Doris Jean Kennedy and Elmita Jane Downs, one son James Ray King, one brother Dewey Coomer, one sister Loretta Thalmann, eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She enjoyed crocheting and yard sales.
