Lonnie Wayne Shafer was born October 11, 1961 the son of Lenard and Betty (Zimmerman) Shafer in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on September 3, 2015 at Fredericktown at the age of 53 years.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his father Lenard Shafer, grandmother Irene Shafer, grandfather Lester Shafer, grandmother Naomi Ford, grandfather Otto Zimmerman, one brother at birth.
Lonnie is survived by his wife Sharon Ballew whom he married on July 14, 1979 in Madison County, his mother Betty Shafer, son Kevin Shafer (Lindsey), Laura (Travis) Dowd also two grandchildren Joey & Ashley.
Lonnie enjoyed playing guitar, driving trucks, spending time with grandchildren and children.
