Lorene Layton was born on June 14, 1939 at Delta, Missouri the daughter of Christopher and Ethel (McDowell) Burlbaugh and passed away on March 13, 2015 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus, Missouri at the age of 75 years. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband Clyde Layton whom she was united in marriage to in 1988 at Perryville, Missouri, and one brother Floyd Burbaugh. She is survived by her mother Ethel Burlbaugh, two sons Chris (Barb) Yancey of Bonne Terre, Larry (Karen) Yancey of Florissant, Missouri, one daughter Pam Yancey of Desloge, Missouri, one sister Ruth Killian of Pevely, and two granddaughters Katie and Kristen Yancey both of St. Louis, Missouri. Lorene enjoyed birds, gardening, and flowers.
