Obituary

Louis R. Johnson Sr.age 70 of Fredericktown, Missouri died on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the famimly home. He was born May 26, 1940 in Johnsonville, Tennessee, the son of Joseph Edward and Linnie (Russell) Johnson. On August 4, 2003 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee he was married to the former Donna Clements, who survives.
Surviving children and step-children include Louis (Sheila) Johnson, Dawn (Dennis) Kinnikin, Daryl (Susan) Mayer, Marty (Carol) Clements, Laura (Jimmy) Conley and Billy (Tina) Johnson. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren/ great grandchildren.
Precededing him death were his parents,one brother Joe johnson, one sister Virginia Kalthaler and one step-son Robbie Clements.
Louis was a former UAW worker having worked 31 years for the Chrysler Corporation in the Fenton, Missouri area. He retired on April 30, 1999.
Louis had professed his faith in Christ as a teenager and had most recently, been attending Buckhorn Baptist Church in Madison County. For many years was a member of Valley Park Masonic Lodge # 629 and the Order of Eastern Star, Kirkwood Chapter # 358.
Louis greatly enjoyed camping at Clearwater Lake, attending Bluegrass Festivals and having bluegrass jam sessions in his home with his family and dear friends.
