Margardt "Margie" Plummer was born July 16, 1927 at Marquand, Missouri the daughter of Emil and Anna (Kemp) Sperling and passed away on July 11, 2009 at her residence in Fredericktown at the age of 81 years.
Margie was preceded in death by her father, Emil who died during Margie's early childhood and mother Anna who died during child birth. her mother and father-in-law was Tom and Beulah Plummer, her sister-in-law Wanda Russell, her brother-in-law Charlie Newberry. She also was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Plummer whom she married on December 22, 1944 at Ironton.
Margie is survived by her daughter Linda Sue Patterson of Washington, Missouri. She had one (1) sister Jan Dalpaioz of Michigan and Florida, two (2) grandchildren and Three (3) great grandchildren.
Margie worked for Brown Shoe Company for 42 years. She was a caregiver for many friends and family. Margie was always willing to help in any capacity. She was gentle, kind, accepting of all people from all walks of life, and always smiling.
Margie was a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, church friends and family.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday July 14, 2009 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday July 15, 2009 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Don Wright officiating.
Interment will be held at Marcus Memorial Park
