Marie Fern Poe was born on October 13, 1933 at Buckhorn, Missouri the daughter of Rev. Byron Leroy and Elsie Marie (Barrett) Hovis and passed away on January 16, 2014 at Claru DeVille Nursing Center in Fredericktown at the age of 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Rosalie Howard, one brother Roy Hovis, one daughter Marcella Lynn Poe, one grandson Christopher Hansman, and one son-in-law Richard Lord. She is survived by one son Morris (Linda) Poe Jr. of Marquand, three daughters Marsha (Ronnie) King of Marquand, Mary Lord of Marquand, and Marty (Donnie) Guinn of Fredericktown, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one on the way. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, and loving her grandkids.
