Martha Sanders Kennedy was born on January 18, 1937 at Fredericktown the daughter of Lloyd and Vesta Lewis and passed away on January 15, 2013 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington at the age of 75 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Edward Leroy Sanders whom she was united in marriage in September 1954, her second husband Jimmie Kennedy whom she was united in marriage at Mt. Pisgah on December 1, 2001, a great grandson Holden Lane Stafford, and brothers George Lewis, Bill Lewis, Tommy Lewis, Johnnie Lewis, Michael Lewis, and Glen Lewis. Martha is survived by two (2) sons Jim (Marilyn) Sanders of Cadet, Missouri and Mike (Debbie) Sanders of Fredericktown, three (3) daughters Rita (Russell) Matthews of Fredericktown, Sally Stafford of Fredericktown, Teresa Stafford (Kenny Miller) of Fredericktown, and two (2) sisters Mary (Wayne) Heathscott of Searcy, Arkansas and Jody Nehus of Paris, Arkansas. Also eight (8) grandchildren and eleven (11) great grandchildren. Martha enjoyed sewing, spending time with family, and going to kid's ballgames and activities.
