Marvin L. "Bud" Francis was born September 1, 1939 at Sunfield, Illinois the son of Dora Allen "Dick" & Vena Fay (Haycraft) Francis, and passed away on September 24, 2011 at his residence in Fredericktown at the age of 72 years.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, son Marvin Dean Francis, brother Jay Francis, sisters Maxine Huggins, Delores Cook, Wanda Clamp, & Ima Jean Francis.
Bud married Roberta Wilson on August 25, 1973 in E. St. Louis, Illinois.
Bud is survived by his wife Roberta Francis, Four (4) sons Roger & Robert Orr, Rob Francis & Tim Francis, Two (2) daughters Donna Hallemeyer & Diana Haferkamp. One (1) brother Dencil Francis and One (1) sister Norma Combs. Twenty (20) grandchildren and Nineteen (19) great grandchildren.
Bud was a member of Bible Community Church. He enjoyed reading & fishing.
