Marvin Starkey was born March 17, 1937 at Marquand, the son of Roy, and Nellie Starkey, and passed away on October 31, 2010 at his home in Marquand, at the age of 73 years.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, two (2) brother in law Clarence Rhodes, Melvin Sitze, granddaughter Dawn Michelle Huffman-Starkey, and sister in law Pauline Rhodes Halpin.
Marvin is survived by his wife Marie, whom he married at his parents home in Marquand on October 6, 1972, one (1) son Ray Starkey, of Fredericktown, two (2) daughters Tammy Jordan, of Anoka, MN, Tina Finch, of Fenton, four (4) brothers, Melvin, Bob, Roy (Bud), William "Bill" Starkey, all of Fredericktown, five (5) sisters, Della Rhodes, of Fredericktown, Joan Stevens, of Fredericktown, Pearl Sitzes, of Barnhart, Mary Jane Stonehouse, of Phoenix, Arizona, Patricia Deguire, of Cedar Hill, seven (7) grandchildren, and one (1) great grandchild on the way.
Marvin was a member of Bible Community Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and working.

VISITATION: after 4:00 P.M. Tuesday November 2, 2010 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 1:00 P.M. Wednesday November 3, 2010 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Barb Stark officiating.

INTERMENT: Praise Temple Cemetery.
