Mary R. (Boyd) Yancey was born on January 1, 1949, the daughter of Paul and Edna Boyd, and passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 74 years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walt Yancey, who she married on June 13, 1969, at Fredericktown, one (1) brother Robert Boyd, and one (1) sister-in-law, Janet McMillin.

Mary is survived by two (2) daughters, Lisa (Gregg) Abbott, Sherry (Bruce) Brewen, one (1) brother, Don Boyd, one (1) sister, Pam Wampler, five (5) grandchildren, Brie (Sara) Brewer, Jes Abbott, Kyle Brewen, Beka (Andy) Clark, and Wyatt Abbott.

Mary was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church, and the Eagles Lodge, she enjoyed sewing, civil war reenactments, bingo, fishing, cruising the aisles of Walmart in the buggy, and the black Friday sales.
