Mary Lou (Halpin) Bumbalough was born on September 22, 1942 at Fredericktown, Missouri the daughter of Emmett Edward and Louella Edith (Beasley) Halpin and passed away on June 25, 2014 at Festus, Missouri at the age of 71 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mothers Pauline Stella Rhodes and Ruby Ann Tripp, one sister Linda Mae Halpin, and one nephew Terry Lynn White. Mary Lou was united in marriage to Robert Lloyd Newland and then later David Lee Bumbalough. She is survived by one son Robert Eugene Newland of Fredericktown; two daughters Rebecca Lynn (Scott) Mull of Bonne Terre and Brenda Lee Ramirez of Fredericktown; six brothers Jim Halpin, Daniel Halpin, Stanley Halpin, Donnie Halpin, Pete Halpin, and Mike Halpin; seven sisters Ruth Ann Foulon, Suzie Abrigo, Debby Boone, Patty Davis, Lynn Tripp, Barbie Thompson, and Tracy Edmonds; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was a member of the Bread of Life Church and enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy, and spending time with her family and friends.
