Mary Etta Higdon was born October 9, 1924 at Penrod, Kentucky the daughter Warner and Adell (Fulkerson) Hunt and passed away June 24, 2013 at Perryville, Missouri , at the age of 88 years.
Mary Etta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence Edward Higdon whom she married on October 27, 1945 at Owensboro, Kentucky. Three (3) brothers Darris, W. P., and Willard T. Hunt, Four (4) sisters Dorothy Mohon, Addie June Liggett, Adell Helen Whisman, & Beverly Ann Hunt a 2 year old child.
Mary Etta is survived three daughters Brenda Ann Millard of Fredericktown, Donna Kay Hahn of Perryville, Connie Dunn of Perryville, one son James Edward Higdon of Sperry, Oklahoma, and one brother James D. Hunt. Also eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was a member of the Higdon Christian Church and enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, and sewing.
