Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Johnson-Brotherton was born February 16, 1935 at Fredericktown, Missouri the daughter of Lloyd F. "Pat" and Edna (Gifford) Boeger and passed away on February 24, 2010 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 75 years.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents. Her first husband Currie E.Johnson whom she married on February 20, 1960 until his death on January 1, 1998.Also preceding her in death were her father & mother -in-law Paul & Grace Johnson, whom she thought of as second parents.
Mary is survived by her husband Forrest "Frosty" Brotherton, three (3) nephews Kris (Angela) Johnson, of Alexander, Arkansas, Keith (Karen) Johnson of Benton Arkansas, Kevin (Carol) Johnson of Bryant, Arkansas, two (2) neices Christi (Kevin) Rounsavall of Hazen, Arkansas, Wendi (Charles) Stock of Hazen, Arkansas, one (1) brother in law Royce (Freida) Johnson of Bryant, Arkansas, one (1) sister in law Paula (Ronnie) Hackelton of Hazen, Arkansas, one Step son Tom (Ann) Brotherton of Austin, Texas, ten (10) great nieces and nephews, as well as a large host of friends around the Fredericktown area.
Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown, She was a Past President of Beta Psi Sorority, Past President of the Madison County Democrat Club, Sunday School Director, and Clerk & Treasurer for the Second Baptist Church for many years, Mary Retired after 25 years as Purchasing Agent at Madison Memorial Hospital.

VISITATION will be held after 5:00 P.M. Friday February 26, 2010 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.

SERVICES will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday February 27, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown, with Rev. Tom Johnson officiating.

INTERMENT will be held at Marcus Memorial Park.

MEMORIALS may be made to the Fredericktown First Baptist Church.
