Mattie Lee Russom was born February 21, 1932, in Bethel Springs, Tennessee the daughter of John Day and Annie Rea (King) Crowe and passed away on September 19, 2025, in Fredericktown at the age of 93 years.

Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Also, her husband Richard C. Russom who she married on February 21, 1949, in Corinth, Mississippi

Mattie is survived by two daughters Patricia G. McDaniel and Donna S. Russom both of Fredericktown.  Grandchildren Rick Russom, Annie Crites Rodriguez, Shane Crites and Larry McDaniel Jr. Great grandchildren Shayna L. Russom, Tyler E. Ury, Ava N. Rodriguez, Andrew Rodriguez, Amelia G. Rodiguez, Bennett R. Crites and Clara L. Crites.

Mattie was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, and canning.
