Maxie Lee Kemp was born February 25,1948 to William and Louise Stidham in Dungannon, Virginia and passed away on October 12, 2024, in Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 76 years.

Maxie was preceded in death by her parents, son Mark Kemp, siblings Fred Stidham, Robert Stidham, Ruby Stidham, Pauline Stidham, Mary Stidham, Carrie Nickles, Jeanette Nickles, Marie Nickles, Billy Stidham and Kenneth Stidham.

Maxie is survived by sons Julius (Lisa) Kemp and Barney Kemp both of Fredericktown, Missouri, a brother Charles Ferguson of Winterhaven, Florida and a sister Juanita Phares of Fredericktown, Missouri. Six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Maxie was of the Christian Faith and Loved Jesus. She loved to read, garden, spending time with family and her boys.
