Melissa Lynn West was born on May 7, 1978 at Fredericktown the daughter of John Paul and Mary (Rosson) Hargis Sr. and passed away on January 7, 2014 at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown at the age of 35 years. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Hargis and her grandparents Hargis and Rosson. Melissa was united in marriage to Rob West on April 1, 2007 at Tunica, Mississippi. She is survived by her husband Rob, one brother John Paul Hargis Jr. of Fredericktown, two sisters Sheila Jean Williams of Arcadia, Missouri and Ida "Lanell" Moore of Kansas City, Missouri. Melissa was a member of the Twelve Mile Baptist Church and teaching her students and crafting.
