Merle W. Guenther was born on August 22, 1927 at Illinois the son of Alvin and Cora Guenther and passed away on August 12, 2014 at Hollister, Missouri at the age of 86 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dwight Guenther, and one sister Mable Bailey. He is survived by his wife Doris Guenther whom he was united in marriage to in July 1997 at Fredericktown, two sons Randy Guenther of St. Louis and Bryce Guenther of Fredericktown, one daughter Carol Young of Colorado, two step sons James Miller and Jeff Miller both of Fredericktown, one step-daughter Teena Buttrey of Reed Springs, Missouri, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Merle attended Open Door Tabernacle Church.
