Mildred Montez Wilkinson was born on June 13, 1917 at Fredericktown the daughter of Vernon and Stella (Spivey) Sunderman and passed away on July 25, 2013 at Ozark Manor in Fredericktown at the age of 96 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John H. Wilkinson whom she was united in marriage to at Jefferson City in 1944, and brothers and sisters John Sunderman, Bobby Sunderman, Irene Moelman, Margaret Paxton, and Norma Jean Tinnin. Montez is survived by one son John (Julia) Wilkinson of Portsmouth, Virginia, one sister Deloris Camzendin of Arkansas, and sister-in-laws Glenda Sunderman of Virginia and Joann Sunderman of Imperial, Missouri. She enjoyed reading and walking.
