Milford Marvin "Cub" Yount age 87 years of Marquand, Missouri, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MissouriCub was born March 20, 1924 in Patton, Missouri the son of Hebert Marvin & Mattie Mahaley (Harmon)Yount.
On November 5, 1947 he married Olga Jean (Cureton) Yount.
Cub was preceded in death by his wife Olga Jean Yount, parents, One (1) brother Bob and son Ernest Yount.
Cub is survived by sons Kelvin & wife Patty of Marquand and Alan Yount of Marquand. Four (4) grandchildren Misty Yount Griffin, Andy Clark, Jenna Yount Follis & Dustin Yount, and Five (5) great grandchildren
Cub was a member of Union Light Congregational Methodist Church of Marquand,
Cub was a World War II Army Veteran, Gideons of Southeast, Missouri, member of Meadow Heights School board. He was a Deacon and on the Board of Trustees for Union Light Church, he was also a member of Patton Lions Club, Happy Old Peoples Club and served on the Wesley College Board for 15 + years.
He helped to start and organize the Congregational Methodist Youth Church Camp and was on the Board for the Union Light Cemetery Perpetual Fund.
He was also the Carpentry Teacher for Fredericktown High School until retirement.
