Minnie Mae Hawn Reimler was born July 10, 1917 at Buckhorn, Missouri the daughter of Lee and Oma (Spain) Hawn and passed away on May 4, 2010 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 92 years.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl Reimler whom she married on December 2, 1939 at Silva, Missouri, Carl preceded her in death in 1997. Also Five (5) brothers Elgin, Marvin, Craig (Buck), B.D. and Infant Boy Hawn. Four (4)sisters-in-law Myrtle and Lora Hawn, Sadie and Bessie Reimler. Three (3) brothers-inlaw Gus, Clyde and Chester (Buddy) Reimler. Two (2)nieces Elaine Reimler and Mary Lou Craig, One (1) nephew Roney Hawn.
Minnie is survived by One (1) son C. J. (Cindy) Reimler of Marquand, One (1) daughter Kathryn (Jim) Stallard of Wentzville. Four (4) grandchildren Jeremy and Lindsay, Rod Stallard (Cathy) of Marquand, Michelle (Mike) Worth of Sikeston. Nine (9) great grandchildren McKenzie and Max Worth, Andy and Ruby Stallard, Casey Carson, Wyatt and Lea Simpson, Samuel and Eli Reimler. Three (3) sisters-in-law Mary Blount of Crestwood, Missouri, Edna Hawn of Hillsboro, Missouri and Helen Hawn of Marquand. Eight (8) nieces and Five (5) nephews, a host of friends and other relatives.
Minnie was a cook at Marquand School for 29, years. She was fondly remembered for her home made Rolls, Pies and Cookies and her feisty sense of humor. She loved being with her family, grandchildren and extended family at Stockhoff. She and Carl were faithful members of Big Creek Baptist Church until they moved from the Albright Farm to Marquand. There they moved their membership to Marquand Baptist Church where they remained until there death.
VISITATION: 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday May 6, 2010 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.
SERVICES:11:00 A.M. Friday May 7, 2010 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Bess and Pastor Derrick Meek officiating.
INTERMENT: Marcus Memorial Park.
