Naomi Umfleet was born on December 22, 1935, at Iberia, Missouri, the daughter of Harry and Pauline Hicks, and passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 89 years.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, one (1) son, Richard Umfleet, and three (3) brothers, Jim Hicks, Layne Hicks, and Robert Hicks.

Naomi is survived by her husband Noel Umfleet, who she married on January 21, 1956, at Hazelwood, Missouri, three (3) sons, David (Teresa) Umfleet, Tom Umfleet, Ron Umfleet, one (1) daughter, Sandra Umfleet, two (2) brothers, Jack (Cathy) Hicks, Glenn (Donna) Hicks, one (1) sister, Paula Hicks, eleven (11) grandchildren, twenty (20) great-grandchildren, and seven (7) great-great-grandchildren.

Naomi loved her husband dearly, along with her family and friends. She loved shopping, playing games with friends and traveling. She also loved trail riding. She fished only if someone else baited her hooks. Nascar racing and sports were at the top of her list. She enjoyed the multitude of personal connections she made with people through church and outdoor activities. She also loved being at Pinecrest Camp and serving the Lord!

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Pinecrest Camp to help send kids to camp.
