Neoma Catherine Mills was born on May 27, 1930 at home in Bollinger County, the daughter of John Jefferson and Ethel May (Greer) Yount and passed away on November 20, 2014 at Fredericktown at the age of 84 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Silvester Jesse McNeil Mills whom she was united in marriage to on January 11, 1947 at Marquand, one infant daughter Mary Elizabeth Mills, one son-in-law Gerald Foster, one grandson Kevin Foster, seven sisters, and two brothers. Neoma is survived by two sons Dennis Silvester Mills and Patrick Neil Mills both of Marquand, four daughters Della Marie Foster of Fredericktown, Charlotte Anne Mills of Marquand, Catherine Pauline Lockhart of Tracy City, Tennessee, and Marcella Louise Mills of Marquand, five grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren. Neoma was a member of the Old Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed making quilts, afghans, crafts, and gardening.
