Norma Jean "Bootie" McKinnis was born July 29, 1928 to Dewey F. and Minnie (Hedrick) Boren in Fredericktown and passed away suddenly at her home on October 24, 2018.

Bootie attended Trinity Elementary School and Public School in Fredericktown

She married Robert "Bob" McKinnis on April 2, 1949. They had three children Susan, Steve and Sally.

She worked as a secretary for Schnapp Law firm for 40 years before retiring. Bootie enjoyed playing with her pinochle card club non-stop for 70 years. She also was an avid sports fan, it included family to professional games.

Bootie was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, taught Sunday School for 50 years and a member of Trinity LWML.

Surviving children are Susan (Ron) Hedrick of Arnold, Missouri, Steve (Vicki) McKinnis of Fredericktown. She had Eight (8) grandchildren and Fourteen (14) great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Robert "Bob" McKinnis and daughter Sally McKinnis Rieger, brothers Eugene, Melvin, Paul and sisters Marie Revelle and Shirley Garcia.
