Norma Jean (Adams) West, would have been 80 next month, she
died Saturday Feb. 15,2014 at the Stockhoff Nursing Home in
Fredericktown, Mo. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and
Stella (Huffman) Adams.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, brother Eugene
Adams, husband Paul Jones West, and son Roger Paul West.
Norma Jean and Paul were married May 23, 1950 and had 7
children, six boys and one girl.

She is survived by one sister, Ruby Lenhard, one daughter and five
sons; Mary Jane (West) Settle and spouse Dean Settle, of
Fredericktown, MO. Edgar Eugene West, Larry David West,
Bobby Allen West and spouse Sharon, all of Fredericktown, Mo.
Harold Dewayne West and Daryl Edward West of Jewett, Mo.
Norma had 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grand children, plus many
more that called her mom and grandma.

Norma Jean was of the Baptist faith, she loved going to church and
telling others about the Lord. Norma's family was of great
importance to her, she taught them all to give of their time and to
work hard. She loved to garden, and spent many hours gardening
and preserving the bounty from it. We the family and many others
spent many hours at her table eating her harvest, she was a great
cook. She will be sadly missed by many. Thank you mom for all
you've done for us.

Visitation will be held after 5:00 P.M. Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Follis and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services are to be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Follis and Sons Chapel with Bro. Charles Sutton and Bro. Clyde Bess
officiating. Songs sang by her dear friend Jeanette Stanfill. Interment will be at Shoemaker Cemetery
