Ora Gene "Bud" Moyers was born May 4, 1930 at Marquand, Missouri the son of Ora F.& Nancy A. (Griffon)Moyers and passed away at his residence in Marquand on March 24, 2009 at the age of 78 years.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Two (2) sisters Sydol Sitzes and an infant.
Bud married Ola Mae Spain on December 20, 1952 at Fredericktown.
Bud is survived by his wife Ola Mae Moyers, Three (3) sons Roger G. Moyers & wife Luanne, Bobby R. Moyers & wife Vicki,Ronald D. Moyers & wife Mary. One (1) daughter Victoria (Moyers) Hansmann & husband Jay. Two (2) sisters Esther Mills & Phyllis Rogers. Nine (9) grandchildren Shanna & David Settle, Rachael & Larry Cooper, Ashley & Jay Francis, Dustin Hansmann,Patti & Jeremy Penwell, Betsy & Andy Matthews, Kristen & Travis Huffman, Amy & Corey Hoover, Ashley Moyers.Nine (9) great grandchildren David Settle Jr., Steven Settle, Elizabeth Settle, Aaron Cooper, Caleb Cooper, Levi Cooper,Carson Penwell, Lilly Penwell & Millie Huffman.
Bud was a member of Mt. View Church. He was a Korean War Veteran, and enjoyed spending time with his children & grandchildren.
