Orie Leonard Pogue was born on June 18, 1933, at Fredericktown, the son of Glover and Laura (Huff) Pogue, and passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 91 years.

Orie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Charlene (Steeber) Pogue, who he married on June 8, 1957, at Fredericktown, two (2) sons, Ronald Allan Pogue, Michael Leonard Pogue, and two (2) brothers, Robert Owen Pogue, and Francis Calvert Pogue.

Orie is survived by one (1) son, David Wayne Pogue, one (1) daughter, Deborah Ann (Pogue) Ernst, and five (5) grandchildren.

Orie was a U.S. Army Veteran, and he enjoyed music, and watching programs about geology, the solar system, outer space, and our universe.
