Orville "Sonny" Edmond was born on February 26, 1939, at Fredericktown, the son of Henry and Emma Edmond, and passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 82 years.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Evelyn Sweeney, Mongo Edmond, Mae Fry, John Wesley Edmond, Patsy Winrick, Katie Stumbaugh, and Betty Jo Drake.

Sonny is survived by his wife Betty Mae Edmond, who he married on September 27, 1963, at Fredericktown, two (2) sons Donnie (Shannon) Edmond, Ronnie (Crystal) Edmond, one (1) daughter Hope Elizabeth (Jerry) Hughes, nine (9) grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Sonny was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and digging roots.
