Paul Leslie Hammond was born June 19, 1940 in Santa Maria Columbia S.A. and passed away January 22, 2025 in Fredericktown, MIssouri.

He was the son of Harvey Edward and Georgiena Lisette (Mott) Hammond.

Paul was united in marriage to Janet Elaine East on October 19, 1963 at the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown, Missouri

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stepfather; C. Rueben Linquist , Father-in-law: Orville East and Mother-in-law: Lavena East.

Loved ones surviving are his wife; Janet (East) Hammond; one daughter: Lisette Suzanne Hammond, Brother-in-law: Mike East, Sister-in-law; Sharon East, Sister-in-law: Cynthia (East) Phillips: Neice Alice East, Aunt: LeeAnn Turnbaugh and a number of cousins, fondly referred to as the Turnbaugh Clan.

After Paul and Janet were married, they made their home in California, where they spent most of their working years. After retirement they made the decision to return to Fredericktown and make it their home.

Paul enjoyed sending time watching a good football or soccer game.
